I think anyone The Geezer's age can remember the "Hippie Generation", the "X Generation" and the "Y Generation". Back in the late 70's and early 80's I began to notice a disturbing change in the attitude of the people around me and I started using the term the "Me Generation". More and more people were saying "Me, Me, Me and "F" You". I know there have always been self-centered individuals but it seemed like the disease was beginning to spread.

Having worked all my life in customer related services including bartending, I have seen the "Me Attitude" grow to epic proportions. So much of this country and the world are only concerned about what is good for themselves no matter what the cost is to everyone else. Take a look at the attitudes that are being displayed everyday, "Are you with me or Agin Me?", "My Way or the Highway", "It's My Way or You Are UnAmerican" "My Religion because Yours is Not Real", just to name a few. We live and vote by "Litmus Tests".

Species on "Our Earth" have survived by survival of the fittest but I thought the human specie had transcended that and became a specie of understanding, compassion and cooperation. All the diseases on the entire planet combined together have not cause as much death and destruction as the "ME Disease"

Science will find no cure or vaccination for the "ME Disease". We must come together and open our hearts to one another to stop this "Terminal Disease". This is not about religion this is about, "Being the Caretakers and Keepers of Our Civilization and Planet!". The Choice is Ours, Come Together or Perish!", No One Will Survive Alone!"
